2012 ACENA Conference

After five years of being hosted in other parts of the United States and Canada, the National Conductive Education Conference is returning to Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2012. Co-hosted by ACENA and the Conductive Learning Center, this year’s theme will be Tradition – Door to the Future. During the conference, which will be held on the campus of Aquinas College, there will be special opportunities to:

  • learn more about the POHI program at Aquinas College
  • meet with the leadership of the International Petõ Institute to learn more about the developments of programs and practices around the world
  • get up-to-date information about the World Congress to be hosted in Germany in 2013
  • hear about planning for the long-term sustainability of Conductive Education programs
  • learn about symptom-specific strategies in the Conductive Education classroom setting

The ACENA board and the staff of the Conductive Learning Center are looking forward to bringing together administrators, staff and volunteers to exchange ideas and inspire one another in the work we all do.
